Petit Collage is the work of Buenos Aires born illustrator Lorena Siminovitch. Lorena began her wall decor business in 2006 after an extensive career in graphic deisgn and art direction. Her portfolio is impressive and distinctively appealing, including a number of childrens illustrative projects. Lorena draws on a palette of vividly coloured papers sourced on her travels mounted on a background of maple plywood. She favours recycled, vintage & painted papers. Close inspection reveals a juxtaposition of materials, textures & language which reveal a somewhat 'grown up' dimension to her work yet the simplicity of shapes and the childish appeal of the images will capture the imagination of its intended, younger audience.
