A graphic designer and illustrator, Pip Compton draws on her love of nature, her garden and her children to create an enchanting range of artwork. LIPP DESIGN is Pip’s studio where she draws and creates. Her artwork and stationery will be launched in December at Magnolia Square.
“My art is about every little day. Much of the imagery is inspired by my children at play, in the garden; in the kitchen; and in their imagination. I am captivated by their conversations with our garden friends; their love for growing, cooking and eating food; the urge to ride and climb anything. I am fascinated by the intricacies of nature: the unfolding of a cherry blossom, the fruit that follows, the pattern and texture in bark, the seasonal changes in our fig tree.”
