lipp service...

A graphic designer and illustrator, Pip Compton draws on her love of nature, her garden and her children to create an enchanting range of artwork. LIPP DESIGN is Pip’s studio where she draws and creates. Her artwork and stationery will be launched in December at Magnolia Square.

“My art is about every little day. Much of the imagery is inspired by my children at play, in the garden; in the kitchen; and in their imagination. I am captivated by their conversations with our garden friends; their love for growing, cooking and eating food; the urge to ride and climb anything. I am fascinated by the intricacies of nature: the unfolding of a cherry blossom, the fruit that follows, the pattern and texture in bark, the seasonal changes in our fig tree.”

Pip’s art pieces are totally unique, illustrated on paper and canvas using a combination of ink, pencil, acrylic, watercolour and exquisite papers and fabrics for use in collage. Custom orders are most welcome. Prices start from $60.

a family affair...

When crafty mother of one, Michelle Crafton decided she wasn't a huge fan of plastic (or big corporations for that matter), the search for wooden dolls began. After many failed searches she decided to try her own hand at creating perfect little people and thus began Goose Grease.

Michelle uses non-toxic materials and recycled packaging. Browse her Etsy shop for gorgeous painted people and request a custom family. You can even get creative and do it yourself with the natural wood pieces and paint kits. Priced from $50 for a family.
