do you recognise this rabbit ...

This lovely and very loved bunny was seperated from its owner on Friday at Magnolia Square! When we made an annoucement to shoppers in the hope of reuniting the pair there was an audible sigh of saddness from mothers who know the feeling all too well!

Bunny has been well looked after in our basket of herbs and carrots but its just not the same as being dribbled on and dragged around by the ears!

If you have any information which might assist in the return of this furry fellow we would love to hear from you. Please email us at

potter about...

Sandra Bowkett will be introduced to the stylish shoppers of Magnolia Square this March where she will be exhibiting her range of hand formed pottery. Sandra is drawn to the sculptural and functional objects of many cultures from the refined fine bone china and porcelain of Europe to the bold low fired utilitarian forms of India and Africa.

Sandra's diversity is apparent in the two avenues she takes in her work. One direction is refined porcelain wearable objects, the other small home ware pieces.

"These are usually based on functional forms. I strive for a simple refined form with subtle textures that imply the making. I have been exploring the use of metal oxides and found earth materials. These pieces are either low fired fine clays or porcelains often under or over fired from the recommended temperatures."

wind it up...

As many creative ventures do, LITTLE JANE ST sprang from a novel idea: to revive our greeting culture and defy the mushrooming e-card inclination with an inspired line of stationery items. The LITTLE JANE ST boutique stationery label includes design-minded limited edition greeting cards, gift enclosures, custom invitations, signature wrap and personalised trinkets, delivered in organic hand-stitched cotton carry-bags tied up with string.

"When I am not busy hand-picking vintage materials, sequins and all manner of recycled odds and ends, I enjoy spending my time experimenting with traditional craft methods such as hand stitching, knitting, stencilling, origami and textured collage. I often draw ideas and inspiration from tactile objects, including discarded fabrics, old story books, sewing patterns and ornate objects such as vintage typewriters" says designer Alarna.

The wind me up Range is available for purchase online and just quietly - who doesn't like the idea of a 'wind up man' - one that must certainly be capable of winding down!
